My advice in picking a career
Is choosing something bigger than yourself
You’ll find out as you grow up
Life is about more than just wealth
You need a passion!
You need a vision!
You need a big dream!
You need a mission!
See… so many go wrong
Not picking a career that engages their heart and their soul
They think its about the Benjamins
But those of us in the know, know
Money only drives a person so far
Money cannot satisfy who you are
But if you pick something bigger
Or find a way to serve
You’ll be grateful for your gifts all the more
See, we are created to know
“It is better to give than to receive”
Something that will fulfill you
Most is serving those in need
And I’m not saying it’s bad
To make a profit
Obviously go for the money
If you really want it
What I mean is, don’t make life
“all about me”
See if you can help someone!
Then you will believe
There is a purpose behind what you do
There’s more about your heart
In the career you choose
Don’t get me wrong
Find your money tree
If you know what I mean
Just think creatively
So you’ll find more meaning
Now here’s a suggestion
I need to make clear
AI is taking over
Everywhere
If you want to be free
Of government reliance
Get yourself your own business
Being an entrepreneur
Means more responsibility
But it won’t limit you
To a Universal Basic Income, see
The government is already inept
At taking care of its citizens
Having your own business is
The only way youre going to win
And be creative
Think of problems to solve
That skill is always in demand
No matter how society evolves
You don’t have to do only one thing
Your whole life
I’ve done many different things
Sometimes you really have to try
All kinds of options out
So you find what you like
Without a doubt
If you think outside of the box
You’ll live outside of the box
But most importantly
Follow your heart
That will be
The best place to start
